Assistant Principal

Kindergarten students at Village School embarked on an exciting mission this month, to spread kindness in our community. Through a grant from Hershey’s Heartwarming Project and a generous donation from O’ Donal’s Nursery, students were able to paint over 65 terracotta pots and plant marigolds for the residents at Gorham House Retirement Community. Students practiced singing and learning American Sign Language to Jack Hartman’s song, One Small Voice.

With brightly painted pots, singing voices ready and plants in tow, kindergarten students and teachers walked to Gorham House on Tuesday, May 24. Surrounded by students, Gorham House residents were all smiles as the kindergarten children presented their pots and sang for all to hear. Kindness, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
