At their meeting on March 3, 2022, this group of Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts from Troop 2300 in Gorham made a tribute wall to those suffering in Ukraine.

They were working on their Global Action/Awareness Award. The plan was to do a mural for “Break The Bias” and International Women’s Day as their take action project. Then, they discussed how the current situation in Ukraine is affecting everyone globally and wanted to show their support.

The Scouts made these giant paper sunflowers, and their display was at the Gorham Recreation Department outside Shaw Gymnasium for a week. They hope to display it in other areas in Gorham each week.
