Councilor Phillips reported that the High School Building Committee and Athletic Capital Committee met last month and will meet again on August 10.

Councilor Stelk remarked that the Gorham Village Alliance is making headway and moving forward to develop a plan for the Downtown area.

Councilor Hager reported that the Finance Committee met and discussed the upcoming Town audits.

Ephrem Paraschak, Town Manager, reminded citizens that a permit is needed for fireworks in the Town. He also thanked Finance Director, Sharon LaFlamme, for another year of receiving the Excellence Award in Town Financial Reporting. He reported that the DOT is working on the Main Street Plan and it will be moving forward soon.

Paraschak also reminded citizens that the Senior Property Tax Assistant applications are available in the Town Clerks Office, online, at the Senior Center in the Little Falls Rec Building, and at the Rec Department. The deadline to submit an application is August 1, 2018.

The Town Manager was asked to prepare a cost benefit analysis on the feasibility of contracting certain wintertime maintenance routes for the Council to review. (5 yeas, 2 nays: Hager, Shepard)

The Town Council adopted the amended Town Procurement Policy effective July 1, 2018.

The Town Manager was authorized to dispose of property located at 148 Burnham Road for the sum of $300 via a Quitclaim deed.

The Town Council referred a request to the Ordinance Committee for their review and recommendation. The referral requests an amendment to the Land Use & Development Code to allow for form based codes in the Village Center & Urban Commercial Districts.
