The Gorham Town Council honored Angelo Sotiropoulos for his community service, and especially for founding the Reed Allen Community Fund after a fire nearly destroyed his GHOP (Gorham House of Pizza) restaurant in 2012. Named in memory of a Gorham police officer and a young cancer victim, the fund gives “love and support for families in crises.” Councilor Suzanne Phillips presented Sotiropoulos with a commemorative certificate.
