Jesse Orach, a 2012 graduate of GHS, finished first in the Maine Men’s division of the Beach to Beacon race on August 5. This was the second year in a row Orach finished at the top of his division. His win came after a dramatic finish in which Windham resident Robert Gomez lifted Orach up and pushed him across the line after he battled dehydration and collapsed shy of the finish line.
