The Town of Gorham Portland Water District Trustee nomination papers were made available on Friday, March 4, 2022.

An election will be held on June 14, 2022 to fill a vacant Trustee seat on the Portland Water District, due to a resignation. The seat will expire November 2022.

Nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Any registered voter of the Town of Gorham who is interested in running for this seat must submit nomination papers with no less than 25 signatures and no more than 100 signatures of persons who are registered voters of the Town of Gorham.

Completed nomination papers must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office no later than 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022.

The Board generally meets twice monthly, a workshop session and a regular business meeting. Trustees receive a stipend of $100 per meeting, up to $2400 per year.
