The Gorham School Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Watts as the new assistant principal at Gorham High School. Watts had been the interim assistant principal at GHS this year. Prior to this year, Watts was a School Counselor at GHS for 10 years, four of which he served as his colleagues’ Team Leader.
Photo courtesy of Ryan WattsOver the course of Watts’ career in Gorham, he spearheaded several efforts to improve the educational experience for students and increase communication between GHS and the families it serves.
Watts holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from the University of Maine and a Master of Education in Counselor Education from the University of Maine.
We believe that he will be an incredible addition to the GHS Leadership Team, and we are pleased and thankful that he has accepted this new position and will continue to assist Principal Brian Jandreau in leading the great work being done at GHS for years to come.
