The Presumpscot Regional Land Trust is beginning a new partnership with the Public Libraries in the towns of Gorham, Gray, Westbrook and Windham. The collaboration links the joy of reading with an appreciation for the beauty and wonder of nature through a new series of StoryTimes which will be held on Land Trust Preserves in each town.

The Nature Story Times are free and will incorporate nature-based themes about rivers and streams, wildlife and conservation. Each hour-long event, held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., is geared toward families and children ages 2-5, with siblings welcome. The program will include one or two books read aloud, followed by a nature hike. The dates and locations for these special events will be posted on the Gorham Times Calendar as well as on the PRLT website. Sign-up and registration are required at www.prlt.org/events.
