Michael Lortie is the new School News Editor for The Gorham Times. He will attempt to continue the wonderful work that Andrea Morrell has done.

Lortie retired in 2018, after being a School Counselor in the Gorham Schools for 36 years. He is proud to have helped two generations of kids be successful in school.

“Gorham is an excellent school system with skilled and well-trained teachers and staff who truly care about kids. Keeping the public informed about the events and happenings of the schools is a huge responsibility,” says Lortie.
