Members of the Little Falls/South Windham village community met with town staff from both Gorham and Windham along with a consultant hired by both towns to assess what changes the community members were hoping to see.
Many items were recommended for consideration: a trail connection to the river, more open space, additional recreational opportunities, extending the sidewalks, more bicycle connections and more local businesses such as Rosemont Market. The former Fire Station in the middle of the village is currently being converted into a restaurant.
Traffic calming issues were also raised with concerns that there should be clear indications that drivers would be entering a village and needed to slow down as well as making the entrances to Little Falls more appealing and noticeable.
