Most local area business parks have very low vacancy rates. The Industrial Park on Route 25 is full with all of the property currently sold. The owners of 17 Laurence Drive, owned by 17 Laurence LLC, have plans to build three units which will be available for lease.
A 2500 sq. ft. building at 59 Sanford Drive, owned by Hampstead Associates LLC, was recently leased. Currently, there are 38 buildings in the Industrial Park totaling 934,606 square feet.
The property adjacent to Nappi Distributors on Lower Main Street is currently under contract to an LLC with which Aaron Cort, owner of Moderne Rug, is associated. No development plans have been announced.
In addition, the Olde Canal Place Industrial Park on Route 237 has three businesses (National Attachments, Shucks Maine Lobster and the Bait Lady) that have signed purchase and sale agreements with plans to start building in the spring.
