As of this summer, Gorham now has two weekly options for people who want to buy locally produced vegetables, cheese, meat, baked goods, potted plants, cut flowers, beverages, herbal products, handcrafted items, and other offerings directly from farmers, artisans, and other product makers.

Since early May, the new Cherry Hill Farmer’s Market has been in operation every Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The market is situated in a newly developed parking lot adjacent to Sebago Brewing on Rt 25, not far from the intersection with Rt 237.

The Cherry Hill farmer’s market is scheduled to continue operating this year until some time in October.

Vendors at the Cherry Hill market include:

  • The Curious Shaman, featuring glass jewelry designs and other jewelry, all handcrafted in Maine
  • Fern’s Gifts, selling an assortment of their original fabric and wood handcrafted items
  • Ferris Farm, selling potted plants and cut flowers
  • Findview Farm, selling beef, lamb, and pork from their own farm-raised animals, as well as an assortment of farm-grown seasonal vegetables
  • Giuseppe Coffee, selling various hot coffee and iced coffee products, as well as bottled water
  • Heron Farm, selling a large selection of garlic bulbs, and other garlic products
  • Hidden Acres Homestead, selling their own handmade soap, made both from vegan sources and from goat milk
  • The Salty Rose, selling a variety of homemade natural bodycare products, as well as herbal tinctures, elixirs, and syrups for enhancing natural wellness
  • Rare Berry Farm, selling their own fine jams and preserves, made from unique varieties of locally grown fruits
  • Small Woods Farm, eggs, sourdough baked goods, and farm-grown vegetables
  • Sullivan House Bakery, selling a number of freshly baked goods, all produced locally at their bakery in Gorham Village

Every Saturday, the existing Greater Gorham Farmer’s Market is open from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This fall, the market will remain in operation, until the last week of October. It is located in the center of Gorham Village, in a parking lot behind the Baxter Library and the Municipal center.

  • Falling Star Farms, selling hats, crafts, and other knit goods made from Alpaca fiber
  • Findview Farm, selling pork, chicken, beef, eggs, and fresh vegetables
  • Glad Harvest, selling fresh vegetables and annual seedlings
  • Good Bread, selling baked bread, cookies, pretzels, and more
  • Noisy Acres. selling artisan soap and cheese made from goats milk
  • Old Wells Farm – organic seedlings and vegetables
  • Small Woods Farm, selling eggs, sourdough baked goods, and vegetables
