The Annual Gorham Light Parade down Main Street to the high school on the 26th of November was a delight as always this year. From reindeer buses to inflatable snowmen to fire trucks wrapped head to toe in red there was always something to see and smile about. And a big shout out to all the volunteers managing traffic too.

The parade ended at the municipal center where there was a tree lighting ceremony, several popular food trucks, horse drawn carriage rides, and activities for the young at heart. Holiday tunes were joyfully streaming through the air as children laughed and played while neighbors snuggled in hats and mittens gathered at the picnic tables enjoying their repast together under the glowing lights of the Christmas tree.

It may have been around 40 degrees that night, but it didn’t appear to matter to the cheerful crowd.
