The Gorham School Department is proud to announce that Erin Eppler will serve as the new principal of Narragansett Elementary School beginning July 1, 2022.

Erin comes to her new position after having served the previous two years as assistant principal at Narragansett Elementary School, helping to lead her school community through a global pandemic!

Prior to her service as assistant, Erin served the Gorham Schools as an elementary teacher at Village Elementary School. Before joining the Gorham community in 2015, Erin lived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where she worked as a National Board Certified Teacher and academic coach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational leadership. Erin has spent her career supporting students and teachers by working collaboratively to develop meaningful relationships that strengthen teaching and learning practices. She is committed to building a strong school community that creates an environment where all thrive.

Erin demonstrates extraordinary leadership. Her work ethic, passion, tireless commitment to excellence, and continued student achievement results are evident in her work. She is compassionate, transparent, trustworthy, credible and even has a keen sense of humor. She will be a welcome addition to our talented district leadership team!
