On May 13, a CMP subcontractor who had been doing routine maintenance on a transmission line suffered an electrical shock while working on power lines at the intersection of Mosher Road (Rt. 237) and Olde Canal Way. The worker was in a bucket truck, and Gorham Fire Chief Robert Lefebvre said he was “definitely electrocuted,” adding that the worker was conscious and stable when rescue arrived.
The worker was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center. His condition was unknown. CMP is investigating the incident.
