There are several changes happening with the businesses at 18 Elm Street in Gorham Village.

Holly Carter has announced that she will be closing Carter’s Greenmarket, which is the food, wine, and gift shop that she has operated in Gorham Village for approximately ten years. The business was originally in operation at a location on Main Street from 2013 to 2016. After being closed for two years, the Greenmarket reopened in 2018 at 18 Elm Street. The last day of business for Carter’s Greenmarket is scheduled for Friday Jan. 17.

The market’s new owners are Tristan and Michelle Littlefield. They will be changing the market’s name to Third Space Market, with an expected opening date sometime in April. There is already a website for the new business: https://thirdspacemarket.com.

The website states that the new business will be “a specialty food and gift shop, with co-working and community gathering space.”

Iaia Brazilian Cafe closed in December. An Asian restaurant is being planned for that space in the near future, with a more detailed announcement about the new business expected soon.
