Why should citizens vote for you?
Our teachers work hard to build a strong foundation of learning, for our students, and I appreciate all the work they put into student’s learning environments. However, I want to see more accountability from the school administration on certain choices they make on student’s behalf. I want to see teachers take a stand for our children’s future by using good judgment in curriculum choices, and the administration building upon the importance of healthy choices for healthy minds, and a more common sense and realistic approach to building parent teacher relationship. I want to work with the school in solutions-oriented ways.

Why should citizens vote for you?
My hope is that voters see me as a transparent candidate and future School Committee member. My approach will be to bring thoughtful common sense and reasonableness to the issues and decisions facing the School Committee. My goal is to continue to provide the resources necessary to allow our children to have a wonderful experience in the Gorham schools, while also thinking creatively about ways to identify and reduce unnecessary spending. Most importantly, I will work tirelessly with an open mind and willingness to listen to all issues presented to the School Committee.

Why should citizens vote for you?
I am running for re-election to the School Committee to continue advoca ing for our students, educators and staff. I remain committed to engaging with families and our community. I’m dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunities and resources needed to be successful in a safe learning environment. We need to continue the collaborative work that occurred last year between SC and TC. A particular example of this is our Fiscal Sustainability Committee. By working together to explore new revenue opportunities and identify long term investments, we can support our schools while being mindful to taxpayers.
