The Gorham summer track program sent 39 individual qualifiers to participate in the USA Track and Field Meet held at Cony High School on August 11. There were over 1,100 individual participants from across the State of Maine.

Some of the accomplishments of the Gorham team included: the 13-14 year old girls won their division, the 11-12 girls and 11-12 boys finished second in their respective divisions, and Andrew Farr set records in the 100, 200 and 400. Finally, the girls 4×100 relay team broke a state record that had been in place for 25 years. The team, made up of Alyvia Caruso, Emma Green, Sydney Connolly, and Kyla Piacitelli, ran their race in 54.61.

As a team, boys and girls, Gorham finished third overall in the combined scoring.

Throughout the summer, the track program boasted a roster of 82 athletes, 65 of those from Gorham with the remainder coming from surrounding communities.
