Police responded to Ossipee Trail (Rt. 25) near Dow Road for a three vehicle accident on June 21 at about 2:53 p.m. Six people were seriously injured in the accident. Five were transported to Maine Medical Center by ambulance. An eight-year-old girl with critical injuries was transported by LifeFlight.
Kenneth Morang, 61, of Standish was driving a Ford F-150 pick up truck, traveling west. He struck a 2008 Honda Pilot driven by Michael Bell, 39, which had three juveniles inside. Bell was also driving west and the impact sent him into the eastbound lane where he was struck by a 2019 Nissan Rogue driven by Alissa Ricker, 42, of Boca Raton, Florida.
Route 25 was closed for two and a half hours following the accident. The crash is under investigation by the Gorham Police Department.
