Happy but random circumstances brought a group of Gorham families together at Lanakai Beach on the island of Oahu, Hawaii for an impromptu beach day far from home during the pandemic. Keegan Ballentyne (GHS ’05) and Lena Azama live in Hawaii, where Lena attends the University of Hawaii. Keegan’s parents, Kim and Mike Downing, were visiting. Sheehan and Andy Jenkins (GHS ’01) have worked remotely from Hawaii during the pandemic from October until this March. Kirsten Olson Spilker (GHS ’00) and her husband, Trey, have been living and working on Oahu for three years. Betty Olson was visiting her daughter Kirsten.
