FIELD HOCKEY:

The Lady Rams varsity field hockey team finished out its season with an amazing 11-4-1 record. Seeded #5 going in to the playoffs, the team improved substantially over last year’s record of 6-8. While the Rams beat Bonney Eagle in the first round of the playoffs with a goal from junior Haley Lowell, they fell to Falmouth 2-1 in the quarterfinals, with the lone goal scored by sophomore Emily Murray.

Capping off the season were some incredible achievements by various athletes. Most goals this season: Molly Murray with eight, Haley Lowell had five, and Mercy Dunn had four. Most assists this season: Lydia Gaudreau with ten and Faith Dillon with five. Goalkeeper Lydia McCrillis had 88 saves and seven shutouts.

Captain and senior standout Sarah Stevens was recognized for her outstanding season and named to the All-State team. She is one of 71 players (15 in the SMAA) to make the team. The McNally Senior All-Star game will be held next summer at the Maine Field Hockey Festival.
