Tom Smith, currently a third grade teacher at Village School, has been hired to be the new assistant principal at Gorham Middle School, replacing Susie Hanley who is retiring at the end of the school year. Smith previously taught both 6th and 8th grade at Bonney Eagle Middle School before moving to Village School seven years ago. His wife teaches at Gorham High School and their children attend Gorham schools.
