Gorham High School is hosting a Taste of Nations event on Saturday Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. All are invited to bring a dessert to share with other attendees that represents your culture or tradition. The event offers your tastebuds a taste of all corners of the world and allows all to socialize with community members as we celebrate unique traditions and identities while also bringing the community together.

“I’m looking forward to this opportunity for people from the many diverse cultures we have in our Gorham community to get together, share delicious dessert and a cup of coffee or tea, and get to know one another.” says Heather Alden-Paredes, a co-organizer of the event. The hope is to establish a new town tradition that will become an annual event while also deepening cultural awareness between neighbors.
