This summer a rotating group of food trucks have been at the Little Falls Recreation Area, adjacent to the old school, every Thursday beginning at 4 p.m., and will continue to be there until September 1. In addition, local businesses including Nappi Distributors, Harvey Performance, Great Falls Construction and Jøtul North America have been at the weekly food truck events to introduce themselves to the public and offer employment information.

Federal funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program are being used to develop a Master Plan for the Little Falls/South Windham village area. This is a joint project between the Towns of Gorham and Windham.

Aceto Landscape Architecture and North Star Planning have been funded to help formulate designs for future development of the area. For more information go to villagesmasterplan. com or stop by Summer Thursdays at Little Falls Recreation Area.

In related news, the former fire station on the South Windham side is being redeveloped into a new brewpub restaurant by Great Falls Construction.
